A table QR menu that actually helps a small place
A QR menu is worth it only if it saves your staff time. Done well, a guest scans, browses with photos, adds dishes and sends them. Your team sees the order, accepts it, and the kitchen gets a ticket, with no running back and forth.
Keep your staff in charge
Let orders wait for a quick accept at first. Once you trust the flow you can switch on automatic accept for quiet hours. Either way, staff should be able to decline an order with a reason the guest sees.
One table, one bill
Several guests at a table can order from their own phones, and everything lands on the same bill. When the table already has an order from the counter, new dishes are added to that order instead of starting a second one.
Make the menu good before you print the codes
- Good photos for the top twenty dishes.
- Honest names and a short line about spice or portion size.
- Mark what is sold out so guests never order it.
